The Dentist
Dr. Thien-Nhien Nguyen graduated from the University of Sydney with Bachelors of Medical Science and Dentistry in 2006. Since then, Thien-Nhien has been having a lot of fun practising general dentistry across New South Wales, South Australia, Western Australia and the Northern Territory.
Along the way, Thien-Nhien is fortunate to have been further trained by highly skilled, highly accomplished, and widely successful health practitioners and by other professional service providers. Thien-Nhien finally settles down at Dens in Dente Dental Care since 2012.
Thien-Nhien is a registered general dentist with the AHPRA/Dental Board of Australia and a member of the Federal ADA and the ADA NSW.

Dens in Dente Dental Surgery
Opened in April 2012, Dens in Dente dental surgery is equipped with the latest dental technologies to provide our patients with a wide range of dental treatments. Situated in Alexandria, we're conveniently located near bus, train and future metro public transports.
To ensure total comfort for all of our patients, we have designed a highly functional, multi-purpose and wheel chair accessible facility.
We use digital dental XRAY equipment for faster results, better quality, and to minimize our patients’ exposure to radiation.
Since September 2021, we are accredited to the National Safety and Quality Health Services (NSQHS) Standards, with documented exclusions, as part of the Quality Innovation Performance Limited (QIP) Private Dental Practice Accreditation program.
To protect our patients and ourselves, we maintain strict infection control in compliant with Australian Standards AS 5369:2023, NHMRC IPC:2019, CDNS:2018 Guidelines, NSQHS Standards, DBA Guidelines, ADA Guidelines and TGA requirements. We are registered as a COVID-safe business with NSW Government.

We provide gentle and meticulous care to ensure your total need will be well looked after in complete confidence. We strive to earn mutual trust and respect by maintaining strict patient confidentiality and practising open disclosure about the benefits and risks of each recommendation. If we do not have the proper expertise to treat your specific condition, we will refer you to other dental specialists so that you could benefit from the best quality care possible within our network of multi-disciplinary dental team. Most importantly, we are committed to ensure you are happily satisfied with our dental services. At Dens in Dente Dental Care, we have a zero tolerance policy toward anti-social, intolerant, bullying, prejudiced and abusive behaviour in person, via email, over the phone, via social media, via third party and via a myriad of other modern communication technology. We reserve our rights to refuse to serve any patients who disrupt the harmony of the practice, behave violently, verbally abuse staff, harass and threaten staff &/or behave in a disrespectful, prejudiced, rude and unreasonable manner. Such patients will be banned from Dens in Dente indefinitely.
